If I must die

Water
Beach pools and fountains
Rivers creeks and waterfalls
The sound The feel
Floating Weightless
I crave
Swimming Splashing
I live in water
Yet morbid fear
Of drowning
If I have to die
I pray not by water
Safer for planes
To crash in water
I prefer instant death
To survival
Conscious under water
Darkness closing in
It would be
Death by a friend
