Why do people lie to themselves
Why is the truth so hard to accept
Why do people act like they have knowledge about something
When in reality they are completely inept
Why do they want to change the truth about themselves
Why do they want to sound better than they are
Why do they lie about the money they make
Because a lie will only get you so far
Why do people go to their social media platform
The people lie and tell them what they want to hear
Why don't we tell the truth anymore
Like if you don't think you're fat, you better look in the mirror
There is no way you will live up to your imaginary you
It's time to put that fake person on the shelf
Nothing is going to change if you keep up the masquerade
Nothing will change unless you're honest with yourself
