The Complexity of My Emotions

I'm suffocating again,
I'm drowning away.
It's not pain that i feel, it's emptiness,
Void and silent, tired and negligent.

Am i not brave?
Am i not strong?
Must i remain!
Must i belong?

What am i doing here?
When will i conquer fear?

Questions with no answers,
Signs with no pointers,
I stand to fight what i can see,
Yet what i can't see, stands to fight me.

Sometimes i feel all alone,
But when i'm with you it feels like home.
I find hope, i find love, i find peace in your eyes,
But i'm distant, i'm a journey of a thousand miles
