DOES SHE DESERVE ALL THESE?(kindafavoured)

In africa for a long time, the battle against FGM has been futile.But it is important to keep fighting to save lives lost during fgm and birth.

This impacts me so much that I want to be involved personally in this fight against fgm.Every life is just as important and valuable as your own.Even as you enjoy my expression in writing , pertake of this important fight.Enjoy.(@kindarogo)

There she comes to practise her occupation,
Nothing other than female genital mutilation,
The girl is held to suffocation,
They insist it is to enhance procreation,
And allow her husband satisfaction,
But is it fair?Does she deserve all this for procreation?

Her mothers hand is on her mouth she cries in pain,
But her customs demand this of her in plain,
For her to transition FGM is the main,
She watches as her daughter is lain,
She knows if she refuses she would soon receive the cane,
But is it fair?Does she deserve all these pain?

She knows it is painful,
If her daughter is not careful,
To observe the xustoms and traditions meant to keep her faithful,
And prevent her from being shameful,
But will this make her cheerful,
Is it fair, does she have to pass through the dreadful?

It is such a shame ,
That they have to use a cane ,
Though by obligation she came,
But do they have to maime?
And who os to blame?

They say she will become a 'real' woman,
They say she wont shame women,
They say she will be desired by men,
They say desire is only for men,

They say, they say, they say,
Are they the only ones to say?
Does not anyone deserve to say?
Or will we be murdered to say?
Is it fair?Does she not have herself to say?

I speak for those who do not say,
I am the voice for the silent,
For those who have nothing to say,
Those who have to stay prudent,
I am the voice for thw mutilated,
Is it fair?is it fair?

I stand firm to affirm,
That mutilation is evil,
It is the source of loss among girls,
Loss of confidence, source of death and a clear demoraliser,
So stand with me,
SAY NO TO FGM!!
