A Bloody red mess
Splash!.....Red splash with blue shards
Just one direction and the other step will follow
Teetering...on the edge, always on the very edge
Tilting forward...blue shoes creasing, squeaking
Going...over...easy, too easy
Swaying, backwards, forwards like a pendulum
Tick-tock, tick-tock...shall I shan't I
I will, I can't...too soon

Run, run back. Heart thumping, awestruck
Mustn't stop... Undamaged. Can breathe. In out, in out
Wishing to be held. Wanting, needing chains to keep me safe
Frightened, so frightened...frightened of the feeling of the fear

Quickly swallow. Blue...blue pills for a blue lady
Smile...sleep...oblivion...forget
Forget that I will wake afraid
Afraid that when I meet the new day...I will want to die...Again
