In my house today
We can always set a place
For anyone here.
Potluck at its best
Table fills with steaming food
Let the turkey rest.
Voices grow with time
Small crowds form throughout the land
Faces known and new.
Say thank you for all
Kickoff the game, meal and nap
Friends are made today.
We are all afraid
The world continues to change
But some things can stay.
American love
Eating together today
No matter who came.
