DWINDLING (An Original Poetry)

We sojourn into decline
with each radiating smile
that's sets the soul ablaze
life emanating from the clutches of death
like a mushroom on an expired tree
each and everyday we shudder home
like a wheel traveling down a mountain slope
watching snowy lathers
diminishing under the sun's warm rays
to form again in the loneliness of dawn

Like whispers fading in echoes
we're dwindling into a facade
from off the face of reality
like a candle burning into nonentity
our lives like a gentle thudding
beating in rhythmic patterns
but one stop away from ruination
once flowers with flowing petals
but only crumpled leaves
left to tell the story.

We're furiously flowing fervently
like a young fountain ⛲
but the coming of the evening
brings wrinkles to the heart
we've gyrated the embers
of the dazzling night moonlight
hoping to forever exist still
under it's immortality
but the coffin is our only ferry
to the only true home.

---

Like the sparkling of the stars
we twinkle and tweet like nightingales
like the crispy beautiful of the forest
when the rays peeps through the leaves
but all is endless vanity
we're like a dirge unsung
a piece of tragedy afloat the black waters
we're like meteors dazzling with ferocity
but headed for an eternal collision.
