Red and Gold
It pervades.
Invades.
It’s carried on the wind
To the furthest reaches
Of the eaves;
It beads the leaves
And ripples the streets
Makes irises in the pond.
Clothes are damp,
Rooms are chill
A clammy mist hides the hill.
And still I come
Through thunder shocks
On autumn nights
When no one walks,
And still I look
To find your light,
Red and gold
In darkest night.
This is my life lately. You unknowingly write of the woman I love.
To the extent that the women we love are compassionate and lovely, Jung is correct - all women are the same. But the women we love are also unique which makes our love so precious
Firstly, I LOVE the picture. It reminds me of a good cry and my mascara smudging the side of my face. (Yes you can use that line).

I can hear the beating of the rain, the pervasive sound it makes with the words you use. And the silent rescue of the red and gold.

thanks @mimy - I suppose visual imagery comes easiest to me. Yes, I'm always picturing what I write and am even narrating inside my head everything I do throughout the day - it's like a radio announcer commenting in the background and I wasn't even aware that I did that until I caught myself narrating dialogue one morning while shaving LOL!!
