to my soul, and to yours;
the world awakens with you. i feel you shudder off the shroud i have long since cloaked you in to mask your most unique parts. i am sorry. i cut tracks in you to “feel something else” feel something “other than” all the pain i knew. i am sorry. i suffocated you as my father/mother/culture has suffocated me, like I learned something of it... i am sorry. for you are as vast and as deep and as unfathomable as the oceans that swim through your veins. i am ready to walk this life with you. share these sacred moments. upheld in their pureness by the people who get to experience these fleeting moments with us. until the moments stack up and take hold in subconsciousness, rooting us in this web we have spun together. Earth family. i share my soul with you, whatever that image conjures, as i know my life breathes harder, beats more vivaciously when i embrace and spend time to take in the splendor and grace that are the lives of my fellow energies. from the smallest, quietest and most unassuming of us, to the loud and sometimes overbearing energies: i walk with you. we are together. we are whole because of each other.
