THE WORLD HAS GONE GREY - POETRY DISMAL AND DARK
My world has gone grey
all the colors have drained
I can see no more joy
in this world full of pain.
Humanity has changed
and we all seem deranged
driven crazy for conflict
in a world that's estranged.
I see only decay
in a world gone astray
and leaders corrupted
who add to the fray.
If we all feel deprived
we can't really survive
in a world that's gone grey
where hatred can thrive.
We must find a new way
to bring love to our days
and stop treating each other
like predator and prey.
