Ano bang mas masakit sa damdamin?
Kaysa sa katotohanan na di ka magiging akin.
Yung ako'y nasa malayo at hanggang tingin
At ang aking pagsinta'y di kayang sabihin.
Napakataas ba ng aking pangarap?
Na parang walang pag-asang maganap.
Pagmamahal mo lang naman ang gustong malasap,
Pero paano kung ikaw ay di man lang makausap?
Ang bawat pag-asa sa tuwing ika'y nasisilayan
Ay napalitan na ng sakit sa puso at isipan.
At wari'y bawat araw na dumaan
Ay parusa na sa akin ay nakalaan.
Puso ko ay pagod at gustong sumuko
Pero tadhana naman ay sadyang mapagbiro.
Tayong dalawa ay laging pinagtatagpo.
Kahit ako lang naman ang siyang nakakatanto.
Ganito ba talaga 'pag may nagugustuhan?
Ang pag-ibig ay palaging di natutumbasan.
At kung pwede lang na puso ay turuan
Para hindi na laging nasasaktan.
