Poem - The Clock Tower
The old clock tower tolls
For the departing souls
For many years
We have heard
The ring
That soars with the birds
And for many years
You were silent
Upright you stood
In the quadrangle
Where in spite of the
Decade weathered rain and sleet
Upright you remained
Defiantly
The old clock tower tolls
For the last time, will be mourn'd
Even though we have not
Heard your ring
With nostalgia we come before you
Joy and excitement we shall bring
Oh! Your walls battered
By the hails and rains
Yet in the dusk sunlight
You bath aflame
As we wave goodbye
For the last time
We will not forget
The good times
