harrowing night

harrowing night
on this particular night, you plague me
our first touch, our first contact, first impression -
on that sandy beach, our hearts felt a flicker.
when i held you down, your struggle was a form of surrender.
i wanted you to break free of my embrace, yet it felt so right.
tickle me, let our laughter carry us away...
those waves cascading down on us, overwhelming us with such intensity.
we tried and tested the water, took us moments of lingering doubt...
before we jumped off this waterfall of greatness together.
your hand in mine, my feet curled around yours.
you gave me a sickening feeling in the stomach, sweat ran amok.
crying out in pain, pleasure has never felt any better.
we hate each other, that's the only way we know.
the way we try to disguise our emotions.
take my face against yours, rub your lips on mine.
every single wait seems to be an eternity.
this suffering of mine, this suffering of yours.
this deprivation has got us hanging by this hook.
waiting eagerly to be dropped into the waterfall of greatness.
my lover, no stringing along, only real feelings and faithfulness.
oh, i want to play. i want to hate.
pull my hair, push me tangent to the cold, hard tiles.
rip our bodies apart with tremendous ferocity and love.
it's so wonderful, what we have.
faithful. real. it feels so good.
ease the pain of the wait with the virtue of patience.
but on this particular night, you plague me.
i'm shaking with impatience.
i dare not to witness the explosion soon.

What a lovely passionate poem.
Thanks for a post
Fantastic use of imagery.
Is there a reason for using small letters all through the poem?
good question. it is a style i adopted from the days i used to write in my notebook with a good 'ole fashion pen and paper.
Okay. Really good to know. Thank you!
