I may not know what you are going through ore mi [my friend] . My heart may not be able to relate with the deep wound which struck your heart by the sword of death.

I may not be able to phantom your deep longings; A longing to reach into the mist and touch the hands of your mom once more; A longing to listen all day to the sounds of her laughter which you always delighted in; A longing to embark on all chores she would heap on you even though you loathed some while she was alive.

I may not understand why nnè[mum] died; Why God would seemingly extend His arms to pluck your blossoming joy from this earth; Why the whole world do not seem to understand the extent of how much you miss her; Why your heart still beats heavily in the deep nights and why you wish to wake up to mama's singing.

I do know mama though. I know mama is an is a woman whose worth does not diminish even in death.

I know that mama retains her timeless beauty which is not a product of the collagen on her skin but comes as a result her good heart
I know mama remains a great woman who still keeps looking affectionately over you even though death wrecked her mortal body.

See let me tell you my friend. Even though the mortal body drops due to age, the spirit residing within lives on. A part moving on to reside with God on high who called her home, And the other part residing within you, Instilling peace like no other; Inspiring you to become the best she wanted you to be; Motivating you to remember every virtue she taught you in order to succeed; And drawing you closer to God who is the one that organizes the grandest reunion of all times in heaven.

Cheer up ore, Mama lives on through you. So put that glowing smile back on your face and surge ahead, knowing in your heart that death has lost its sting and grave, its victory.
