Pay Your Tithes/Pay the the Price

Pay your tithes or pay the price!

Don't allow me to say it twice!

God looks on, sees what you make.

Would you have him your fortune take ?"

God's not pleased with you today.

Step up your pledge and your plight away.

Be not too smart, toe the line!

To the "Man of God", be sublime.

Not your portion sickness,penury, untimely death.

Just keep close to the G.O's hearth.

Spirits of poverty, this I bind!

Satan this congregation will not confine!

God did not create you a nonetity.

Empty your pockets in all its entirety.

God blesses only cheerful givers!

Has no truck with thrifty deceivers!

Today is the day of wealth and joy.

Line up people, receive yours today.

Folks with no money, wait another day.

Today God makes time for folks with gold to give away.

These I hear in churches every day.

Drummed sunday to sunday to my heart's dismay.

Can't cross God's threshhold with no coins in my purse,

Else I annoy and receive the G. O. 's curse.
