Filipino Poetry #62: Paghawak Ko Ang Mga Kamay Mo

Sa iyong mga kamay,
ramdam ko ang masayang buhay,
pagka't meron akong karamay
at nagmamahal sa akin na tunay.
Pag ang iyong kamay ay aking hawak,
alam kung ito ay higit pa sa pilak,
pinag-iingatan at hindi winawasak,
hindi ito masasaktan ito'y iyong matitiyak.
Parang hawak mo ang aking mundo,
sa pagkat ikaw lang ang laman ng utak ko,
maging pangalan mo ay nakatatak sa aking puso,
kamay mo'y nakalaan lang sa mga kamay ko.
