It has been 3 decades since we met,
you were then young and innocent.
A simple girl with a wonderful smile,
stuck in my mind even within a mile.

I fell in love with you so many times,
as you stood by me through the test of time.
As we spent the last 23years of our marriage,
you fought my battles with all your courage.

I served our country as an officer and soldier,
while you took care of our kids as father and mother.
As I received all the medals and commendation,
you did not even received any appreciation.

Now as we travel in many parts of this earth,
I hope you felt my love as hot as this desert.
I know you want more time in Dubai,
but we need to go home and say goodbye.
