A POEM A DAY
Poetry is beautiful, you just need to pen your words and feelings down
A poem a day
Putting thoughts into words
Sharing feelings through an ink
Masking the boredom with a page
A poem a day
Exciting minds with imagination
Leaving words of gold behind
Shining fiction from reality
A poem a day
Raging war against sadness
Writing for the love of the pen
Floating in oceans of thought
A poem a day
Writing words of the suppressed
Spilling groans of the oppressed
Coaxing hardened hearts with rhymes
A poem a day
Reflecting minds where speech fails
Reverberating words from the quill
Lighting your day like a wildfire
A poem a day
Digging out emotions deep within
Creating magic, beliefs and visions
Unveiling the power to mould your world
A poem a day
Pen down your hurts, fears and pains
Pen them down, they hurt no more
Mould your dream and let smiles of hope beam
Life is a poem
Everyone is a theme
i like this - kind of like saying anything or anyone can be poetry if thought of in the right life. love that :)
Thanks for stopping by @itinerantartist
Actually every event in life if properly considered can birth a poem, poetry is just everything around us

What a great concept - a poem a day! If children learnt to write a poem daily at school imagine the world of thoughtful, verbose and inquiring minded people we would live in :-)
I really like how this poem progresses throughout. A worthy ode to the cathartic nature of the poetic muse.
Beautiful @estherikott :-)
Thank you @raj808
I'm honoured to have you read it
While a little optimistic for my personal tastes I do love the line "everyone is a theme".
Yeah, actually the line speaks the truth
Everyone and everything is a theme for a poem, you can derive inspiration from any angle in life so that's summarized in that line
Nice to have you read it @mitthradiumn
@estherikott, your poem was beautiful and this was my favorite line ...
