Experiment In Whimsical Rhyme

An empty page, oh what to write?
As letters spill, words form in sight
Yet, the scribbles will not express
But rhymes continue, nonetheless.

The senseless lines give way and since
You listen friend, at your expense
But where will this poetic rhyme
Find a resting place this time?

I 'spose no place or meaning be
Yet still the rhythm echoes free.
Experiment yes, yet unrehearsed
Cadenced, penned in comic verse.

Yet, you search it's meaning here
A double cadence draws you near.
Whimsical, with words, I write
The final verse, the end... goodnight.
