Powerless

My eyes have seen your suffering
Tears acknowledge your pain
Every-time I see you hurting
My heart bleeds in vain

Knowing I can do nothing at all
When something needs to be done
Seeing others going through a fall
And I can't even offer a bone

Reality can be so cold
With the embrace of my limitations
Those brave aspirations we once told
Fails at the very first expectation

Having dreamt of changing the World
