"The Haggler's Daughter" - A Poem
She dared not scorn the price
Of things offered with pride
By seasoned artists or artisans
With time-worn
Calloused
Careful hands
Farmers, bakers
Makers, creators...
With them she never would protest
Whatever price they thought was best
This one goes out to all the creatives. Keep creating. I'm trying to follow that advice myself :)
