Save me from
That side of me
That lives to be
Approved of
Thought worthy of
Love
To be
Considered "good"
Or worse
To be considered
"Better"
Than that
Unspecified
"Them"
Where average
Is
The worst curse
And there's no point
To places
After first
Save me from
Destructive pride
The kind that's
Easiest to hide
And easiest denied.
