I walked by your house
Felt my heart drop
Felt the space you left
Felt the emptiness
The place where you used
To live
The place someone stole
Your last breath
The town that you used
To love
Won't ever be the same
Will it?
I hope you're in a better place
I know that's what they always say
But wherever
Your essence is
Wherever you presence is
It better be
It ought to be
In a better place
Than this
