My Father; My Killer
What should be joy, is pain
What did I do that I am being punished for?
Stop it! Stop it!! Stop it!!!
I weep at my reality
And my uncertainty haunts me to bits
Why do you do this to me?
Where did I go wrong with you?
Forgive me please and stop killing me.
You are supposed to be my father,
Protecting my innonence
Guarding me from the lions that lurk.
An easy sail I should have with your wise words
but all I get is you creeping into my bed
You take my life for a few minutes of pleasure.
I will tell the world one day
what happens when you shut the door,
I will say it to the world one day
Why I scream and sometimes refuse to wake.
I have said it repeatedly; vowing to tell the world my tale
But the thought drains my strength.
Knock.... Knock
Here you come; my father, my killer.
