Lampu redup digubuk senja
Tempat pemuda menikmati kopi
Menulis khayalan dalam bait puisi
Berfikir keras tuk sebuah kata
Waktu setia menunggunya
Setiap arti yang dia cerita
Sebungkus rokok temani jenuh
Sunyi hilang oleh nyayian nyamuk
Diam sejenak tuk menulis lagi
Coretan tak terbaca penuh tanda tanya
Pemuda tolol dengan mimpi besarnya
Jadi tema di kertas usang itu
Kini coretan tinggal coretan
Tak dipahami oleh jiwa
Karena penalah yang menari
Sesukanya tanpa hati
