Generous was Nature,
To share her fruits with others.
But, were we, the humans, thankful?
No, we gifted back poison.
Greed, we had in our hearts,
Our lives were no fun,
Money defined our lives,
We wanted things, more and more.
Helpless, Nature became,
Surviving amidst the brimming poison.
Humans were the ones who supposedly benefited,
But, our future is an apocalypse.
The future will be drastic,
For the poison is named 'plastic'.
