NIGHTFALL!
The sun sailed to the west,
Straight into its nest.
A dreary and gloomy night,
appeared in my sight.
Running through my blood was fright,
of the daunting fight that lay a sight.
My heart tremble,
as I watch neighbours huddle.
I was puzzled,
Why this battle?
Why should countrymen die of hunger?
I ponder
I wounder
Why people should suffer.
In the darkness of the hollow of my couch,
with a pillow on my harrowed chest,
And a deluge of tears.
I asked the question with fear,
Why this Nightfall
that may never catch the glimpse,
of the morning star?
