An ode to mother earth -

She is the causer, the giver of breed,
He is the ender, the taker of need,
She will give shelter with comfort and feed,
And he will give all of the stars to her seed,

This is the contract that I've made with earth,
She is to render her home and her hearth,
I am to glorify all of her birth,
And show the whole universe all of her worth

These are the words that flow in my vein,
Never for pleasure or promise of gain,
Nor promise of years of tears and pain,
Could ever sway me from my lovers reign,
