Steemit poetry contest #15 Cold moonless nights.

The bright multicoloured skies are going dark,

The stars have resumed and the sun has retired too.

The world is asleep, even the dogs cant bark,

Just a look outside my window and i am feeling blue.

Remember the almond tree we always met to talk?

I strolled there again, i needed to remind myself of you.

Remember how we loved the moon from the tree's bark?

Tonight is different, the tree is covered in dew.

---

I must have underestimated the cold tonight,

Now all the sky has is a matt black canvas,

And i still regret not going with you to kansas,

All i have left is a cold moonless night!
