Sleepless Nights - Poetry #2

It was a lonely dark night,
Sleepless was in my sight.
People are dreaming,
Except for me, wide awake, thinking.

Sadness, flowing inside me,
Sleeping at day,
Wide awake at night.
Tears are falling as I remember your smile,
It's been awhile,
Since I've seen your lips touches the skies.

Your touch left a sweet fragrance in mine,
You filled my emptiness inside.
As we shared each others stories,
Sleepless nights for me is fine.

The presence of you is now gone,
How long will I wait and be alone?
I miss everything we do,
I miss our sleepless nights,
Especially you.
