Nights of Insomnia. Volume 4: When Far.
A little poem for the late night life.
when far, far away, in deep seas,
in how much I suffer thinking alone,
send me that sigh on the waves.
when the sun, with its rays from the east,
tear the gauzy gauze from the mists,
if a prayer murmurs for the absent one,
let me bring the swallows.
when the afternoon loses its sad finery,
and in red the red clouds turn,
Send me a burning kiss on the wings
of the breezes that play between the leaves.
May I, when the night tent its mantle;
I, who carries in his soul his silent footprints,
I will send you with my complaints a sweet song
in the trembling light of the stars
