you owe it to yourself #CLIFE
I have always appreciated the people who have influenced me to become a better person.
However, the older I get the more my gratitude for my upbringing grows.
I do not know how I could ever give back for all the things I was taught especially throughout my upbringing or how to thank the people who have contributed to the process of me becoming the person I am today.
Despite the fact that you owe it not only to yourself but to the very people that have had a positive impact on your persona, I believe that we are ought to hold ourselves to our highest standards.
And I believe that it is a way of giving back. As you continuously aim for self improvement you not only become a better person for yourself, but also for the world you live in; the people, the environment. The reward of not backing down when things get tough, but staying focused on consistent improvement as we become the best versions of ourselves is priceless.
Falling in love with the process is a whole topic for itself, which I will dedicate a separate post to :)
Through it all, however, we should always remind ourselves that this is a lifelong process and that being kind to yourself a long the way, is just as important as being kind to others.
Thank you, to the people and experiences that have made me the person I am today.
Thank you, for making me strong.
Strong enough to have faith in the vision I have created for myself in a world where more often than not people are being asked to adopt someone else's vision.
