It's not for winners or losers,
For self home-improvers,
For soccer moms or entrepreneurs;
Not for witnesses or whales,
Nor minnows or salesmen,
It isn't for newbies or you;
It's not a click-bating scheme,
Or the fake-news Internet,
Not the self-hating violent ...
Not even for children, anymore ...
Or anyone who used to
Color outside of the lines.
Love isn't for humans,
It isn't for fools;
It's a gift of the gods
And as such ...
Doesn't follow human rules.
Very true. What we humans call love doesn't much resemble that cosmic mechanism of attraction that allows the universe to operate in perfection!
