And I said,
Don't play tricks, lover
For those belong to him.

I say play with my hair
Not my heart
I want to feel
What love is again

Take my pain
Turn it to pleasure
Because I was never one
Who loved to drink
But the numbness
Gave me closure

Until you came
I was lonely
You lift me up now
How thankful am I?
To dream about heaven
Yet to see it in your eyes.

Life is beautiful
There's a few things I would miss
So don't play those tricks
Because tricks are for kids.
