First stab at poetry on steemit
I thirst
I thirst for knowledge not to be a know it all but to teach
I thirst for success not riches but happiness
I thirst for power not to rule but to help
I thirst for love both to give and to receive
Who will be my teacher who will be my student
When will I know I'm successful when I'm rich no when I'm happy
How will I use my power to dominate no to help
And when will I find love I knew you once but now I feel the emptiness that was once my heart
So come into my life take my love and return it
Fill me with the power of love so I can do anything
And make me the most successful man by allowing me to love and be loved
Teach me how to love again and I will give you everything I am
