POEM - EVAPORATING COLOURS
A vast ivory curtain draped over silver rods,
flowing gracefully across the range,
gradually drifting,
rolling over mountains,
suffocating distant arrow tips,
riding swiftly across the valleys
Mountains vanish without a whisper,
the bloodless charcoal curtain,
a silent, deadly vapour

I like the final line, too, but it's "the bloodless charcoal curtain" that has me thinking.
