The Drum

This one goes out to the spirit of the djembe I met on Full Moon

The Drum,
it takes me off to
majestic
otherworldly
places

I can feel the desert sands
blowing in my eyes
as the Drum
takes full control of my hands;

easing each one down to the skin
in time
to
each
rhythmic beat.

I lose Control;
I Realize,
I never had control

This movement;
This serenade;
It
Just
Is

Healing me,
Showing me the way
once forgotten;

It phases me out
and yet brings me back
into being;
Dizzy;
Elevated;

The rush of Gnosis as the blood
pumps around the brain

I feel;
I learn;
I integrate,
it's sweet soulful teachings
