Dreams of Realities
Rosy dreams of use,
Somewhere I belong,
Someone to employ,
A studious boy,
Someone who wants,
To give me a salary,
One that i could flaunt.
Thought every boy that finished.
It was his first job, he had been placed.
Yet he felt so out of place.
To a cubicle he was restrained,
To a system he was chained,
His eyes were strained,
His mind, drained.
Blind to the pouring rain,
Signed to a boring pain.
Trained but curtained,
Yet he sustained.
For he had a wife to entertain,
A family to maintain.
The boy inherited a ball and chain,
So ofcourse he fell in love with Mary Jane.
