Trying not to accommodate the helpless
Blocking every possible loop-hole
They always take advantage of givers, they say
I haven't got enough for myself, they say
And I have to operate a tight budget
But who will save a meal for the hungry
Manna doesn't fall from heaven anymore, you know
But you can shed a little light on someone's darkness
