To Cry
So, they want us men to cry!?
Our tears flowing from our eye.
Why don't they just tell us why
they want us low enough to cry?
Emotions, I say, don't help a guy!
No matter how hard they really try
to find a weakness within a guy,
we are not about to cry!
They think we're mean, and that we lie,
as we keep emotions in short supply.
There's no reason to comply,
when our nature we're to deny.
They're selling weakness, but we won't buy.
If we must suffer, then we can't rely
on showing weakness as we cry.
Suffering builds character in a guy!
To show our weakness as we cry
lets everyone know they can't rely
on a strong and helpful guy,
because he's not, if he must cry!
Why our emotions run so high
and we feel the need to cry?
To their will, and no logic nigh,
people want men to just comply.
There are times when we must cry,
even though we are a guy.
It's because emotions run high,
and we can't stop them, although we try!
Now an then it's ok to cry,
as our emotions reach the sky.
But, as soon as possible we must defy
those emotions which make us cry!
We may not see eye to eye,
but anger actually makes us fly!
When control we then apply,
the only limit is the sky!
Move to anger, when emotions run high.
That one emotion gives strength to a guy.
Lets him stand tall and look life in the eye,
and strengthens his spine when danger is nigh!
When we're weak and always cry
is not a good story for any guy.
Laughter will bring tears to the eye,
when our story's told after we die!
The moral here, I cannot lie,
go somewhere secret, if you must cry!
Empty your system, dry your eye!
Come back with strength and be a man!
