This is my entry for @tony-duke and @ajremy poetic surge

Most times I look around
And see suffering without end.
Then I'll ask myself.
If hope is worth the risk.

The pain that ravages us
The fear that seeps within
The hunger running Vogue
The sorrows buried deep

If I could but find a piece
Of whatever gives us peace
And share a drop in every heart.
Less suffering then we'll see.

If we could show a bit
Of love and kindness
Maybe we could end the wars.
In our hearts and our world.
