The Floor
She sits on the floor
Determined to cry no more
All her friends are gone
But she will carry on
Beside her is a penny
Luck for the many
She tosses it aside
Then stands tall with pride
Her fears will no longer hold her down
She will smile beneath her frown
For in the darkness there is light
Even on the coldest night
Well done. I liked it (after spending hours going through the poetry tab, it is so nice to find a real poem).
When are you going to start posting your book? Is it fantasy, horror, thriller, love story? - or have you changed your mind?
Thanks! I will probably release the book Sleeping Brides at the end of this month, or soon after. I'm just waiting until I have a gap where I can post daily or almost daily. It will be soon! It's a literary romance, but I have other books in mind to release here as well, including a thriller. :-)
