Oh War!
The cries, woes and pains of war
The brightest day is still dark,
everything seems lost,
Houses are burnt to ashes,
Markets turn tombs,
Bridges collapsed,
The war warriors have been killed,
Fathers and husbands have died as martyrs,
With a promise to bring back the freedom lost.
survivors; now slaves,
mothers and children weeping for the lost of their loved ones.
Oh war!
What an everlasting sorrow you have left?!
our joy and relief you've snatched,
With truncated hopes and dreams,
How can a new life start under this condition?
Oh war!
You are black like the darkest nights,
you taste like a spoilt food,
With smell like the blood,
A look like a living hell,
your sound quivers the mind and pain is what your feeling is.
Oh war! What a sorrow you have brought.
