silence // a poem

My silence is not a flaw.
It's not something
you should look upon
as a trait that needs to change,
a disturbance you cannot endure,
and act of weakness in any form.
Ask yourself why a lack of words
makes you uncomfortable,
perhaps its because of the way
your mind tries to fill the void.
