Different shades of green
I wear as my skin
The last command I must obey
As my commander says eehsobey

My mother's prayer kept safely in the armory
My daughter's doll I cling to for my sanity
As I wage my war for humanity
With spirit and boots I trample on skulls to sand
And I swim in lava to meet my nations demand
Ha! How I laugh with my knives and guns
And reminisce on how the last war was such fun

Like a puppy, for my masters I play fetch
For every thing is never as it seems
For am I a proud soldier or a victim?
Wow, strong stuff this! In my opinion every soldier is a victim, of his (families) culture and the powers that shouldn't be...
