RE: Ole Tainted Blues ( 100 Days of Poetry) {Day #70}
Oh my God! What a sensitive subject It is true, the end of a worker's life is discolored and unsightly. After giving his life for a salary, the common people depend on a miserable pension that does not even reach for the medicines of the degenerative diseases of old age. And, others, not even that and they are forced to work for less salary each time, due to their age. The criticism is aimed at the insensitive society that sees the elderly as a burden and is a call to the people who work who value their time, that not everything can be work, because in the end, life happens and has not been lived.
Good job, @dmilliz. A hug
It is very sad state for the elder with this false hope. It works out for some people but not most.
Yes, they can barely by the medicine they need, while in some countries these necessities are free, health insurance free. Indeed, especial countries like Japan, they see the elderly as a burden with politician actually saying " they should hurry up and die." What a world. Thanks for your comment.
