Feelings Of Emptiness

Is there a feeling worse
Than empty on the inside?
Than all your feelings gone?
To me, it was a curse

Every time I felt too much
I stopped feeling anything
Anything except a wall
Which kept from human touch

And then a few years passed
I worked on being happy
Decided to be joyful
And saw the light at last

Sometimes the emptiness comes back
But instead of curse
I see the blessing that is is
For Inner Stillness loves this track
