Story of a Captain's Girl
A Captain stands on a lonely isle,
Searching for a ship to commandeer,
Each day the sun sets,
And rises,
A constant turn table of patience.
Far off from the sandy shore,
A storm brews.
The tides begin swell and the clouds mask the sky black.
Amidst the torrential rain and ferocious waves,
A whithered ship's mast can be seen in the distance.
The Captain has found what was lost,
A gift is given of power and liberation.
The vessel will not survive the storm without guidance from the wise.
The ocean separates the ship from the Captain,
He waits in angst as the storm continues to strip away the ship,
Piece by piece.
The ship is at the mercy of the storm,
Then a beautiful event changed the course of history by a sudden shift of the tides.
A rogue wave gripped the ship's body and drew it closer to shore.
The time is now for a Captain to take hold of the ship he was meant to commandeer.
When fate falls in the hands of those who are searching for those that are lost, one must accept and oblige.
The vessel lost at sea,
Is a body,
my body.
The thunder shook the rhythm alive inside my soul,
The lightening struck my unconscious mind, awake
My body vibrates as electricity pumps through my veins,
I inhale deeply and exhale a shuddered breath as my Captain navigates the curves of my body,
Feeling the rhythm as I move in time.
A Captain, my Captain,
Has found his place and I have mine, at peace.
I am awake, I am alive.
