TAINTS OF MELANCHOLY!
Waves of melancholy taint the sweetness of the evening breeze
Obinna's skills touch hearts, birthing more tears
As his flute plays the dreary tune of ode
The war is over; our heroes have returned
Yet we mourn, the passing of great warriors
Wailing, anguish, woe
Wives widowed, and children orphaned
Who would calm their stormy souls?
Yet t'is the oath that was sworn
The price of war, is common knowledge after all
So today, we shall bury our dead
And on the morrow, we shall drink wine, and merry
The lions linger no more, to roar
But their legacy of freedom lives on in our hearts
And guard these boundaries for eternity
