THE LOST SOUL
I Looked at a reflection in the water.
I found a soul,
So lost in the deep dark forest
Struggling to find it’s way out.
Looking around to find clues,
Anything leading to a better path .
It’s heart burning with faith
Hoping, Praying and not giving up.
But the mind knew, the truth.
It tried and tried
But failed each time.
Every time it almost found a way out
It found itself trapped in again.
Almost like it could never get out.
It decided to stop.
To stop trying,
To find a way out
From that moment
It found a way in,
Into it’s soul, discovering the depths within.
